We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

Scope of collection and processing of personal data

In principle, you can use our website without disclosing your identity. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. As far as personal data (e.g. name, postal address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, it is taking place, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. When you access our website, the browser used on your terminal device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the accessed file
  • Website from which the access was made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • For other administrative purposes

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation GDPR), which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Security

We take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. All employees of i.Dohmann GmbH as well as subcontractors commissioned by us have been obligated to maintain secrecy in accordance with § 5 of the Federal Data Protection Act.

When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Contact form / Inquiry form

If you send us inquiries via contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent. (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Registration Function

The data entered during registration is used for the purpose of using the offer. Users may be informed by e-mail about information relevant to the offer or registration, such as changes to the scope of the offer or technical circumstances. The collected data can be seen from the input mask within the registration. This includes name, company, postal address, e-mail address, IP address for the purpose of using the download area.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. To ensure that the newsletter is not sent without your consent, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. In the course of this, the potential recipient allows himself to be included in a distribution list. Subsequently, the user is given the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only if the confirmation is received will the address be actively included in the distribution list.

We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers. The newsletter software used is rapidmail. Your data will be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. Rapidmail is prohibited from selling your data and using it for purposes other than sending newsletters. Rapidmail is a German, certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the German Federal Data Protection Act. You can find further information here: https://www.rapidmail.de/datenschutz.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data protection measures are always subject to technical updates, which is why we ask you to inform yourself about our data protection measures periodically by inspecting our data protection declaration.

Integration of third-party services and content

It is possible that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the users about this.

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data.
